Ideas to Grow Your Business By Participating in Global Hug Your Kids Day

What's unique about Global Hug Your Kids Day is we don't need to raise money! We don't do research or look for cures. We just want to get more kids and families hugged - and hugs are free! Yet churches and other faith organizations can use the holiday to increase fellowship, or just have some fun.

Speaking of free, there is no charge from Hug Your Kids Day Headquarters to have an event. We'll even help you publicize it on our website! We'd prefer that you have the event for free, or at cost. If you raise money or donations, please use it for a worthy cause. Just let us know, and we'll help you publicize that too! The holiday is already on the official holiday calendar. Our goal is to generate hugs! We'd love you to plan a simple event in your church or town to encourage families to hug.

It's OK to hold your event a day or two before or after before the official holiday. Obviously, we ask that events be wholesome in nature. Please do not offer alcohol if children are present. Check with your local city or county for other guidelines. If you want to partner with a local service organization, church, club, family members, or neighbors, that's great. The "Hug Your Kids" message fits all religions, cultures, lifestyles, and ethnicities.

For city-wide events: we prefer it not promote any particular religion or lifestyle, but rather, just hugs. For all events, we encourage a tolerant and welcoming attitude unless the event is just for your members. Contact us to discuss your ideas and let's work together!
